Hey, guys! It’s me, Santana, and I’m getting ready to move!! In case any of my puppy friends are out of the loop (come on, guys, get in here!), Mallory and I are packing up all of our sharp toys, little shreds of paper, chewy treats and digging blankets. We’re moving to SEATTLE with Matt! I have to stay in Unadilla with Freckles for a couple months while Mallory finds a place that is perfect for me.
To help her out, I decided to make a list of some things I’m looking for in my ideal apartment:
1) Lots of GRASS - I am a picky picky pooper, and even though I’ve gotten a little better recently, I don’t like to go in the wrong spot, so we need an apartment with just the right amount of exactly-the-right-height grass.
2) Room to RUUUUNNNNN - You guys all know how fast I can run, right? I mean, I’m Santana…I am FAST! I need a room where I can wake up from my nap and take off in giant, speeding circles!
3) A really close bus stop - Now, I’m not really allowed to ride the bus, and frankly, I’m faster than any bus (see #2). However, Matt rides the bus to and from work every day, and in order to get to the bus, he has to walk. I am concerned with this because I’m VERY much against Matt walking outside without me to guide and protect him. So, ideally, I need the distance to the bus to be a short as possible.
4) Windows - I don’t know how Matt is doing it without me in Seattle right now, but I know that Mallory would barely be able to survive if I wasn’t here to look out the window. This way I am the first to know if anyone is coming to visit us, coming into our section of the apartment building, walking by our door, or thinking about walking by our door. And you bet I let Mallory know when I see anything suspicious (and sometimes when I just notice that nothing has changed or moved at all)…she is really dependent on my barking, growling and fluffled up wolf-like neck and back fur!
5) Dark Nights - It takes a LOT of work for me to dig and burrow into the blankets to cover my face, so I would really enjoy someplace without a lot of streetlights lighting up my room at night!
6) Food Ball - Mallory is being rather unclear about whether or not she is bringing my food ball with us to Seattle, so I’m just making it official here. We NEED a food ball. I am big enough to eat out of a bowl now, but seriously…it’s a ball! Full of food! What else could a puppy (or Matthew) really ask for?!
I hope this helps! If you have any questions about puppy requirements, please address them to Dangles, who keeps track of my whereabouts and daily activities.
Good day.
